If you are interested in making their own kilt, then the Margaret Edwards Kilt School could be perfect for you.

The prospect of hand sewing a kilt, even for a budding seamstress, can be daunting. But at my Kilt School you will see at first hand how it is done. You will be given encouragement and hands on tuition, to inspire and guide you in making your very own kilt.

The Kilt School is situated between Grantown-on-Spey and Tomintoul, in a peaceful rural Highland location, within the magnificent scenery of the Cairngorms National Park. Surrounded by hills and moorland the sewing studio overlooks farmland and rugged wild land.
